The Short-term Skilled Occupations List (STSOL) effectively replaces the Consolidated Sponsored Occupation List (CSOL) Schedule 2. It will now be updated every six months based on advice from the Department of Employment.
On 1st July 2017, the Australian Government put different versions of the STSOL in different pieces of legislation (legislative instruments) applying to 189, 190, 489, 485, 186 and 457. This means that there is no longer a single STSOL.
To help you to understand what visa you may be eligible for based on your occupation we have created a Visa Eligibility Table which shows the combined MLTSSL and STSOL lists relative to all the eligible visa occupations.
If you want to refer to the legislation directly, then you can find the links below:
Many Applicants will require a skills assessment as part of their visa application. EasiVisa can advise as to whether you need a skills assessment and can assist you with your skills assessment if you do need one. Contact us now to find out more.
