The Department of Home Affairs have changed the points test for the Subclass 189 and 190 visas. Additionally two new regional visas have been added to the Skilled Migration Program. These are the:
- Subclass 491 Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa; and the
- Subclass 494 Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa
The following two visas ceased on 15th November 2019:
- Subclass 187 Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme Visa (187 TRT pathway will remain available to some applicants)
- Subclass 489 Skilled Regional (Provisional) Visa
