There are over 150 growers! It a wonderful place to spend a weekend, a week or the rest of your life and yo won’t have to go very far to find a world class Chardonnay.

Salty Vibes

With 135 kilometres of spectacular coastline you can expect a superb array of beaches. There are beaches to suit surfers, sunbathers, families with little kids and great beaches for walking or having a picnic with your friends. There is something for everyone … if you like beaches that is! If you aren’t an experienced surfer, there are lots of surf schools in Margaret River, Smiths Beach and at the Yallingup Lagoon.

Produce and Markets

Margaret River’s excellent climate allows the local to grow exceptional produce. If you are a foodie, Margaret River is a gastronomic heaven. Grass fed lamb and beef, free-range eggs, artisan cheeses, wood fired bread, organic dairy, daily caught seafood, coffee, and chocolates are just a selection of the wonderful foods being produced locally. These foods are found at the towns local famers markets, which are held most weekends in Margaret River, and also served up in the fabulous restaurants and cafes.

Margaret River Town Square Markets – Every Sunday during November – April. On the other days the Markets are held twice a month and plus public holidays 8-12.30pm.

Margaret River Farmers Markets – Every Saturday all year round. April – October 8-12pm. November – March – 7.30-11.30am.

Margaret River Lions Club – Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month – 8.30-12.30pm.
